1 Box yellow cake mix
1 Pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1/2 Cup Amaretto
1/2 Cup water
1/2 Wesson oil
Spray Bundt pan. Mix all ingredients and beat for 2 minutes. Pour into pan and bake 325’ F. 50-60 minutes. Remove cake from pan and immediately pour on hot glaze.
1 Cup sugar
1 Stick butter
1/2 cup amaretto
Place ingredients in small pan and boil 2 to 3 minutes. pour over hot cake. Prick top of cake and add glaze slowly so glaze will penetrate.
This is a moist cake with a fabulous cream cheese frosting. We use the jars of carrot baby food instead of grated carrots because they are so easy and the cake is just as good, if not better! This is my son's all time favorite cake, and the most requested cake for a birthdays around our house... When Taylor was a toddler, he called it "chocolate mustards cake". Don't ask me how it got that name!
