1 Cup rice in vegetable oil, drain.
1/2 small can tomato sauce to rice. Simmer for several minutes.
2 Cups water
1 Tablespoon onion
1/4 Teaspoon garlic
1 1/2 Teaspoon salt
Cumin to taste
Pour into rice, and bring to rapid boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer on very low heat approximately 25 minutes.

We can't have Christmas or Thanksgiving without these noodles. They are a must have at our table. They are not like any noodle you've ever eaten. They are thick, chewy and tasty. Gotta also try the homemade dumplings!
