1/2 Cup sugar
2 Cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 Pint vanilla ice cream
1 Small bottle Ginger Ale (1 cup)
Combine sugar, water, and salt. Simmer 5 minutes. Add coffee and stir to dissolve. Chill.
Pour into 10 oz. glasses, add tablespoon ice cream to each. Fill almost to top with Ginger Ale. Slip scoop of ice cream in each and top with marshmallow halve.
