1/2 Lb. linguini, uncooked
1/2 Cup Italian dressing
1/2 Lb. shrimp, shelled & deveined
1 Each med. yellow squash, zucchini & carrot, julienne strips
3 greens onions, cut into strips
1 Clove garlic, minced
1/4 Cup chopped parsley
2 Teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 Teaspoon salt
Dash cayenne pepper
Prepare linguini as package directs, drain. In medium skillet heat dressing. Add remaining ingredients except linguini. Cook & stir 8 to 10 minutes. Add linguini toss and garnish. Serves 4.
This is a recipe for an Italian meat sauce that simmers for several hours before it is ready to serve. We serve the spaghetti topped with fresh parmesan cheese, and sometimes sautéed fresh mushrooms.
