Chili Relleno Bake

Brown:

1 pound ground beef

1/2 Cup onion (chopped)

Drain fat.

 

Add:

1/4 Teaspoon salt

1/2 Teaspoon pepper

 

Place 4 ounce green chilies, cut in half crosswise and seeded, in 10 x 6 baking dish.  Sprinkle with shredded cheese.  Top with meat.  Arrange 4 oz. can green chili over meat. 

 

Combine:

4 beaten eggs

1 1/2 Cups milk

1/4 Cup flour

1/2 Teaspoon

Dash pepper

Beat until smooth.

 

Pour over chili mixture, and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
