Sauce:
2 pounds ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 Can ( 8 oz) tomato sauce
1 Can ( 6 oz.) tomato paste
3 Tomato paste cans of water
1 Can ( 10 oz.) tomatoes and green chilies
1 Teaspoon chili powder
1 Teaspoon powdered oregano
1 Teaspoon cumin seeds
1 Teaspoon salt
2 Teaspoons sugar
2 Medium cloves garlic (minced)
1 Cup cooked rice
Toppings:
Shredded lettuce
Corn chips
1 Cup diced avocado
1 Cup diced fresh tomatoes
1 Cup cheddar cheese (grated)
1 Cup sliced green onions
1 Cup chopped ripe olives
Sour cream
Hot sauce
Cook meat. Add onions during last few minutes. Drain grease. Add remaining sauce ingredients bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 40 minutes. Serve meat mixture in bowl surrounded by toppings. Let guests make their own build-up starting with chips, meat and cheese, etc.
Very good... This is Taylor's favorite meal, and guaranteed to be a hit with kids of all ages! I know I will quickly have a house full of the kids friends when I make this recipe... believe it or not, I double this almost every time I make it!

Chicken & Green Chilies Casserole
