Ingredients:
1/4 Cup finely chopped onions
4 Cloves garlic, crushed
4 Sprigs fresh parsley
3/4 Cup butter
2 Lbs. fresh med. shrimp, peeled and de-veined
1/4 Cup dry white wine or vermouth
2 Tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Sauté onion with garlic and parsley in butter until onion is tender. Reduce heat to low, add shrimp, cook, stirring frequently about 5 minutes. Remove shrimp with slotted spoon to a serving dish: keep warm. Add remaining ingredients to butter mixture: simmer 2 minutes. Pour butter mixture over shrimp. Serve immediately with French bread. Yield 4 servings
