1/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup Grand Mariner or orange flavor liqueur
4 Cups whole strawberries (hulled)
1 Cup whipping cream
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier
1/8 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 Cup sour cream
3 Tablespoons chopped pistachios or toasted almonds
Combine 1/4 cups sugar and 1/4 cups grand Marnier in large bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add strawberries, toss gently, and set aside.
Beat whipping cream until foamy, gradually add two tablespoons sugar, 2 Tablespoons grand Marnier and cinnamon beating until soft peaks form. Fold in sour cream. Spoon strawberries and syrup into serving dishes. Top each with dollop of cream mixture. Sprinkle with nuts.
