Ingredients:
Crust
2 Cups finely rolled graham crackers
2 Tablespoon sugar
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
1/4 Lb. melted butter
Mix together and line layer or spring form pan.
Filling
24 Oz. cream cheese
4 Well beaten eggs
1 Cup sugar
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Mix altogether until smooth. Pour into crust and bake 20 minutes at 400’F. Remove from oven and spoon topping over. Return to oven and cook 5 minutes.
Topping
1/2 Pt. sour cream
2 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
Chill before serving. This cheese cake is better if it sets overnight.
Mom often heats apricot jam and spoons it over the top, or drizzles chocolate syrup and nuts. Cherry or blueberry pie filling on top is good also.
