1 Package all beef hot dogs
3/4 Cup bourbon
3/4 Cup brown sugar
1/2 Cup catsup
Slice hot dogs into bite size pieces. Mix the bourbon, catsup and brown sugar together and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Add hot dogs and pour into chafing dish and serve.
Mom's variation:
Use 1 Cup each of bourbon, brown sugar, and chili sauce. Mix the bourbon, catsup and brown sugar together and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Add polish sausage cut into bite size pieces. Pour into chafing dish and serve.
