1 Large jar Salsa ( hot or mild)
2 16 oz. Cans black eyed peas, drained
1 16 oz. Can white hominy, drained
1 Cup diced green bell pepper
1 Cup chopped white onion
1 Cup chopped fresh tomatoes
1/2 Cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 Cup seeded and chopped jalapeno pepper
1 Cup chopped green onions ( tips included)
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
2 Tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground
2 Tablespoons cumin, ground
Combine in large bowl and marinade in refrigerator 24 hours. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
