3 avocados
1 large tomato (or several cherry or grape tomatoes)
1 medium onion chopped (or 4 or 5 green onions)
1 can ranch style black beans (or pinto, navy, whatever you prefer)
1 small can chopped green chilies
1/3 cup fresh cilantro (or more if you like it a lot J)
1 lime
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Chop avocados in cubes, chop tomatoes and onions and add beans and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime over and combine. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
Tip: I usually add the seasonings last after I have added the lime, because the lime adds a lot of flavor and makes it seem more salty so you don’t need as much salt.
Serve with tortilla chips and salsa. It would also be good served over shredded lettuce as a salad with some chips on the side.
