1/4 Cup Water
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 Teaspoon whole dried oregano
1/2 Teaspoon sugar
1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/3 Cup (2 oz.) crumbled blue cheese
Combine all ingredients in a jar. Cover tightly, and shake vigorously. Chill thoroughly. Yield: 1 Cup. 38 Calories per tablespoon.
Good served over mixed greens.
This is a frozen salad, that can be made ahead for a holiday meal. It is a tart cranberry sauce topped with a fresh whipped cream topping. It is spooned into a muffin tin lined with cup cake papers, and served in individual servings. It is a family favorite!
