1 Can 1 lb. whole cranberry sauce
1 Can 8 oz. crushed, drained pineapple
1 Cup dairy sour cream
1/3 Cup chopped pecans
Whole pecans for garnish ( optional)
Combine cranberry sauce, pineapple, sour cream and chopped pecans. Mix well. Pour mixture in 8 Inch square pan. Freeze until firm. Cut into squares to serve. Serve on lettuce leaves. Garnish with pecans, if desired. Six servings.
This is a frozen salad, that can be made ahead for a holiday meal. It is a tart cranberry sauce topped with a fresh whipped cream topping. It is spooned into a muffin tin lined with cup cake papers, and served in individual servings. It is a family favorite!
