Ingredients:
3 bunches fresh broccoli
1 Cup cider vinegar
1 1/2 Cups vegetable oil (safflower)
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon dill weed or seed
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon pepper
1 Teaspoon garlic salt
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
2 or 3 cloves garlic
Cut broccoli flowerets from broccoli. Remove skin from stalk and slice. Combine with flowerets. Mix and add remaining ingredients. Refrigerate 24 hours. Baste periodically.
Tip: Sliced avocado and sunflower seed is also good mixed with broccoli. If avocado is added when broccoli is marinating, it makes a creamy dressing which is very good, but doesn't keep as long. Otherwise, we add the avocado and sunflower seeds when serving this salad.

This is a frozen salad, that can be made ahead for a holiday meal. It is a tart cranberry sauce topped with a fresh whipped cream topping. It is spooned into a muffin tin lined with cup cake papers, and served in individual servings. It is a family favorite!
