Ingredients:
1 1/4 /cups unsifted flour
3/4 Teaspoon baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup butter or shortening
1 1/4 Cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 Egg
1/4 Cup milk
1 1/2 Cups Post Raisin Bran
3/4 Cups chopped salted peanuts
Mix flour and soda, baking powder and salt. Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition. Add egg and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cereal and peanuts. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets mounding slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes or until golden brown. Store in a tightly covered container. Makes about 4 dozen
