1 (18 Oz) butter pecan cake mix
1 Large egg, lightly beaten
1 Cup butter melted and divided
2 Large eggs
1 8 Oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft
1 16 Oz. pkg. powdered sugar
1 1/2 Cups pecans, chopped
Combine cake mix, 1 egg, cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter. Press into bottom of lightly greased 13x9x2” pan. Set aside. Combine 2 eggs, cream cheese, powdered sugar and remaining 1/2 cup butter, beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in pecan and pour over cake mix layer. Bake in 350’ oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until set. Covering loosely with foil after 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Yield 3 Dozen.
