Ingredients:
1 Lb. brown sugar
2 Sticks butter
3 eggs (beaten)
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon lemon extract
1 Cup crushed pineapple
4 1/2 cups flour
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1 Teaspoon soda
1 Cup coarsely chopped nuts
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients with crushed pineapple, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Fold in nut meats, chill dough. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet, flatten slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about six dozen cookies.
