Combine in bowl:
21/2 Cups quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 Cup peanut butter
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute:
1/2 Cup milk
2 Cups sugar
1/8 Teaspoon salt
4 Teaspoons cocoa
Pour hot mixture over rolled oat mixture and mix lightly until blended. Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper or foil. Let stand until firm. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
