Our Family's Favorite Brunch Recipes

Good morning pumpkin pancakes with Dutch honey syrup will be a hit with anyone that likes pumpkin pie!  These are made with pumpkin pie filling and many of the same spices.

The Easy Pancakes recipe was altered for my daughter, Angela when she was a very young cook! ...She wanted to fix me breakfast in bed for Mother's Day, and was confused with which spoon was the teaspoon and which was the tablespoon!  This recipe was one of her first successes!

Banana bread is also a family favorite.  This freezes well, and can be made ahead of time.  It is best fresh out of the oven, sliced with a small dab of butter!  But the kids will tell you it is delicious several days later... Mom bakes it and sends it to them at college.  They love it!

The three fruit marmalade is a special treat.  When the peaches and pears are in season take the time to can this special marmalade.  It is fabulous.  It is very good in the marmalade stuffed French toast too!

Eggs Benedict is Taylor's favorite breakfast.  The hollandaise sauce is made in the microwave and is very easy to make.  It is so much better than the packaged mixes that you buy.  The sauce makes the benedict!  It is also makes the crab benedict better!  I use it in that recipe also.

The best biscuits in Texas are a very good homemade biscuit.  They make a regular breakfast special!  Give them a try, our family loves them.  They are good with butter and honey, marmalade, or with a hearty breakfast of biscuits and gravy!

The pull apart breakfast cinnamon rolls can be made the night before and put in the refrigerator.  Then you simply stick them in the oven the following morning!  This is a great recipe for busy morning!

Blueberry muffins are a family favorite, and freeze well, so don't be afraid to make a bunch.

The Refrigerator Muffin is a bran muffin recipe that the dough can be stored in the refrigerator for up to six weeks.  This is a healthy muffin that can be made in minutes.

Good Morning Pumpkin Pancakes

Excellent any time of the year, but especially good during the fall and winter.  The pumpkin flavor is rich and hearty.  These are best served with our homemade "Dutch Honey" recipe.  This is a rich thick syrup that will last for weeks in the refrigerator.  The "Dutch Honey" is also good on ice cream!
