Ingredients:
4 Pounds diced peaches (8 Cups)
4 Pounds diced pears (8 cups)
4 Medium oranges un-peeled (quartered)
1 Package powdered fruit pectin
9 Cups sugar
Prepare peaches and pears. Slice oranges quarters in 1/4 inch slices, or very small. Do not remove peel. Measure fruits into large kettle and mix thoroughly. Cover and bring to boil. Simmer gently 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in pectin and cook gently for 1 minute. Stir in sugar and bring to a vigorous boil, stirring constantly. Boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat. Skim and stir about 7 minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal immediately.
Tip: Mom dices fruit very small pieces, especially the orange.
