Oven French Toast

 

Ingredients:

6 oz. Cream cheese

French bread

1/2 Cup diced strawberries

10 Eggs

3/4 Cup half & half

1 Teaspoon vanilla

 

Take French bread and slice it into 12 sandwich thick slices and spread with cream cheese and top with strawberries and put slice together to make 6 sandwiches. Combine eggs, half and half and vanilla and pour over sandwiches.  Pour on a buttered brownie sheet and refrigerate 24 hours. Remove sandwiches from refrigerator and  put on a buttered baking sheet and bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Good Morning Pumpkin Pancakes

Excellent any time of the year, but especially good during the fall and winter.  The pumpkin flavor is rich and hearty.  These are best served with our homemade "Dutch Honey" recipe.  This is a rich thick syrup that will last for weeks in the refrigerator.  The "Dutch Honey" is also good on ice cream!
