Ingredients:
1 Cup all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/4 Cup shortening
1 Cup quick cooking oats
1 Beaten egg
1/3 Cup milk
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2 Teaspoon salt
Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles course crumbs. Stir in oats. Combine eggs, milk, and honey. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 12 biscuits.
