Ingredients:
2 Tablespoon butter, softened
6 Slices white bread
2 Cups (8 oz.) Shredded Cheddar
2 1/2 Cups milk
4 Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Spread butter on one side of 3 bread slices. Top with remaining bread. Cut each sandwich in quarters. Place six of the quarters in a buttered 8” square baking dish. Sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeated procedure with remaining quarters and cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and beat with wire whisk until blended: pour over casserole. Cover dish and chill overnight uncover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until set. Serve immediately. Yield 6 servings.
