Ingredients:
4 Tablespoon butter
6 Tablespoon flour
3 Cups milk
1/2 Cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon chopped green pepper
2 Hard boiled eggs
2 Tablespoon chopped pimentos
1 Tablespoon grated onion
2 Tablespoon chopped celery
2 Large cans asparagus
2/3 Cup bread crumbs, mixed with melted butter
Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour, stir until bubbly, gradually add milk and stir constantly until boiling and creamy. Add cheese and next 6 ingredients. Put 1/2 of asparagus in greased casserole. Pour 1/2 of creamy mixture over then repeat with remaining asparagus and mixture. Put bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350’F. for 20 minutes.
